Fashion Museum
This is the only museum in the world dedicated to the display and study of fashionable dress.
Everything here is the finest of its kind, from the outrageous pomp and impracticality of a Georgian court dress - too wide to get through a door - to the sensation that was the Versace dress worn by Jennifer Lopez in 2000. The secrets behind fashionable looks are revealed: girls, try on a replica corset and experience instant transformation into a lady! The "16 inch waist", fact or fiction? Find out at the Fashion Museum.
The Museum café is open nearly every day and there is a particularly fine fashion bookshop and gift shop. The whole experience takes place within the magnificent setting of Bath’s Assembly Rooms, where in Georgian times, more than a thousand people would gather for parties and balls.

There are new displays each season and lots of holiday activities for the family, see www.museumofcostume.co.uk for details.
